I have been very fortunate to have received a lot of correspondence from my students and some extremely humbling comments.
I have scanned in some of the more recent cards that I have been sent by my students at school and this will hopefully give you an idea as to the relationship I build with them, how I get them on side with my way of teaching and more importantly make them believe in themselves.

Cannot recommend highly enough! Having had the fortune of being taught A Level Further Maths for two years by Mrs Galliford, I can safely say that she did everything possible to ensure my success. I got on extremely well with the adaptive teaching style that focused specifically on what I wasn’t comfortable with and challenged me to push my knowledge further. At school, Mrs Galliford never stopped until she knew that I was confident with what we had covered; and this even carried over to the online lessons where she was more than happy to answer questions that I had afterwards. All in all, Mrs Galliford is a brilliant, hardworking teacher and one that can make maths accessible to anyone at any level.

A Level Further Maths
As a maths and further maths at Alevel that has had Mrs Galliford, I’ve found her to be a superb teacher that goes the extra mile whilst preparing lessons or work and completes every question in the exercise books to find which are hard and any techniques to use to make the work easier. Because of this she understands where students are likely to struggle and makes sure to go over any subjects that may be tough in extra detail to make sure her students understand. She also was able to make questions which seemed completely confusing to me clear and show me a different route that I found more clear than the ones laid out in the book just by rephrasing questions and making me look at them slightly differently. Not only is she a superb teacher but a very nice individual who makes her students feel comfortable and is someone they are able to have a joke with. Overall a superb teacher/tutor.

Suzy is relentless in her belief that every student matters. The confidence she bestows in her pupils is immeasurable and this is reflected in their ability to achieve. Her skill as both a teacher and mentor is undeniable and my son absolutely flourished under her guidance.

I can highly recommend Suzy Galliford's maths tutoring. She was excellent at building my two girl's confidence with maths and really helped them with some solid grounding going into secondary school. Importantly, she helped both to break down their barriers to maths learning and really advance. Her many years of experience as an excellent maths teacher was clearly obvious to us and her great sense of humour and ability to gel with the children was crucial in their learning.

"Miss Galliford is essentially the reason that I got an A in A level maths, without her help, support and encouragement I would not have managed it. She has multiple ways of explaining each topic, so if you aren't understanding something she simply explains it a different way until you do. She allows you to work things out for yourself, simply guiding you in the correct direction, which means that you are learning the maths and how to apply it in various circumstances. She emphasises how important it is that you also work hard but is there to support you all the way with any questions or queries you may have, however silly they sound. Miss Galliford is an amazing maths teacher and anyone would be lucky to have her teach them.
